2004 Female Recipient – Jaime Klippert

Jaime Klippert will graduate from Pasco High School where she was on the soccer and track teams for 4 years each and played basketball one year.  She was the track captain for 2 years and soccer captain 1 year.  She’s been involved with youth soccer for many years and has played premier ball and indoor soccer for 3 years each.

Jaime’s has been the business manager for the school newspaper; a peer trainer and mediator; Senate page for Sen. Hewitt; delegate to Girl’s State, to name a few.  She’s been a member of national honor society, key club, and participated in drama, math and science bowl, and her church youth group, to name a few.

Beyond high school, Jaime’s has long been interested in medicine and health services.  She has volunteered at Lourdes Medical Center, LaClinica, Veteran’s Affairs Medical Clinic and served as an intern for Project HOPE (Health Occupations Preparatory Experience).

In pursuit of her desire to study medicine, Jaime has included many advanced placement level classes in her schedule and throughout her high school tenure has maintained a grade point average of 3.948.

Jaime plans to attend Washington State University to pursue a career in the medical field, either as a nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant.
